Our Company Story
At Hatton Construction, our name carries a heartfelt story rooted in family and heritage. It all began with my grandfather, John Holden, who was an incredibly important figure in my life before he passed away in 2021.
Although he knew he was adopted, much of his early life was a mystery until 2015, when he decided to take an ancestry test to learn more about his past. This decision opened up a new chapter for him—he discovered he had a brother and three sisters in Mobile, AL. After countless phone calls filled with hope and excitement, he finally met his long-lost siblings, allowing him to reconnect with a part of his heritage he never knew.
Through this journey, my grandfather uncovered the fact that his true last name was Hatton—a name that holds great significance for us. In honor of him and the family legacy we pieced together, I decided to name our company Hatton Construction. This name serves as a reminder of the importance of family and the bonds that shape who we are today.

From initial consultation and detailed planning to execution and final walkthrough, our team collaborates closely with clients and subcontractors to maintain clear communication and transparency. This structured approach allows us to proactively address challenges, meet deadlines, and deliver exceptional results that exceed expectations in commercial construction and remodeling.
Preconstruction services involve planning, budgeting, and preparation before construction begins. These services include estimating, design review, schedule development, risk management, site logistics and procurement strategies. They ensure the project can be completed within budget and on time by identifying potential risks.
Vendors, safety, and quality control. We emphasize focus on maintaining effective communication with clients, keeping the project on schedule, within budget, and completing all aspects of construction to meet the client’s specifications and standards.
The project management team is involved from preconstruction to the time warranty is complete. This involves overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of projects. The project management team monitors progress, mitigates risks, resolves issues, and maintains communication with clients throughout the construction process.
Our team works closely with our clients, architects, and engineers to ensure permits are in hand prior to beginning construction. This allows us to get ahead of potential issues and obtain a clear path to closeout permits when construction is complete.
